There’s something magnetic about a band that can make you want to both slow dance in a daze and headbang with your whole heart — and Broncho delivered exactly that at their June 28th show at Crescent Ballroom in Phoenix.
From the moment they took the stage, the room was soaked in warm haze and moody lighting, instantly setting the tone for a night that felt suspended in time. Their sound — equal parts sweet and gritty — swept over the crowd like a dream you didn’t want to wake up from. Whether it was the raw emotion in the vocals, the hypnotic guitar textures, or the tight, pulsing drums, every element came together to form the ultimate indie-alternative soundtrack.
It was my first time seeing Broncho live, and hopefully not the last. Their performance felt like a soft dive into something familiar yet freshly euphoric — like a mixtape from a memory you didn’t realize you missed. The set moved seamlessly from woozy slow burners to punchy, energetic tracks that had the crowd swaying, spinning, and fully letting go.
Broncho’s music carries a kind of nostalgic electricity — like the golden-hour glow of a past summer, distilled into sound. And live, that feeling only intensifies. This was more than a show — it was a feeling. One I’m definitely holding onto.
