Post-hardcore band Movements SOLD OUT Tempe, AZ once again bring the final leg of the RUKUS! Tour to Marquee Theater

The post-hardcore band Movements, known for their emotionally charged music and authentic lyricism, returns to Tempe, Arizona once again for another SOLD-OUT show on this final leg of the RUKUS! Tour. On March 1st, 2025, the band took the stage at the Marquee Theater and delivered an unforgettable night of raw energy and deeply personal moments.

As the lights dimmed and fans crowded the front, Movements took to the stage. The energy in the room was insane, full of screams of excitement. Starting their set with “Afraid to Die”, the crowd yelled back the lyrics. Lead vocalist, Patrick Miranda has always shown to have an incredible stage presence with his signature jumps and hops on stages. His ability to convey deep emotions through his voice always brings different layers of emotions and delivers it to everyone standing in that room. The rest of the band consists of the incredible drummer Spencer York and bassist Austin Cressey, creating a solid foundation for the band and atmospheric elements. Ira George’s guitar work is dynamic to the band, adding depth and texture to the sound.

After the first three songs, Miranda shares with the audience, “This is the first stop of the last leg of the Rukus! tour. Tempe, you sold out this place!”, he shouts and the crowds cheered with excitement and joy. For the past couple of years, Arizona has been a great stop for Movements—consistently selling out venues in the state.

What makes a Movements concert truly special is not just the performance, but the connection between the band and the audience. They know how to completely immerse the fans into the music and have them singing along to every word—full of emotions. A standout moment occurred during “Full Circle” and “Colorblind,” where the audience and band shared an intimate exchange of lyrics, with the crowd echoing Miranda’s every word. It is always a stunning moment standing in the room—watching and hearing this every time I have seen the band live. This is a reminder that Movements’ music is not just about listening, but about being part of something bigger—a community that shares a collective emotional experience.

The band sang some oldies that had never been played live before—as mentioned by Miranda like, “Skin to Skin” and “No Good Left to Give.”

The production on this final leg had a budget increase with the band showing off new lighting effects and displaying their new “MOVEMENTS” sign shining over their heads. These new details are a display of how successful Movements have become over the past years and what they have accomplished as a band—taking over the scene.

Movements’ live performance was everything fans could have hoped for and more. Their ability to merge emotional authenticity is unmatched. Whether it was the crowd screaming every lyric or the intimate moments where Miranda shared with the crowd, it was clear that Movements had crafted a night that felt deeply personal for everyone in the room.
Their ability to create such a powerful connection between themselves and the audience is something that they have always been great at, and it’s what makes their concerts not just shows, but unforgettable emotional journeys. Don’t miss the chance to see Movements live—their music isn’t just something to listen to; it’s to “feel something.”
