Quinnie Announces Sophomore Album Paper Doll, Shares Poignant Title Track

Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter quinnie has officially announced her highly anticipated sophomore album paper doll, set for release on July 24, 2025. Alongside the announcement, she unveiled the haunting and deeply introspective title track, “paper doll” — now available on Spotify and Apple Music.

The new record features 15 tracks, including the previously released “baja bird,” which came accompanied by whimsical visuals directed by Alejandra Demers. Co-produced with longtime collaborators Jake Weinberg and Gabe Waxpaper doll was recorded at Weinberg’s studio and Infinite Family Studios in Los Angeles.

“I wrote ‘paper doll’ about how being idealized by a partner is fun until it isn’t,” quinnie explains. “This song is the title track of my record because it encapsulates the thesis of always feeling too messed up to be loved by somebody else.”

A Follow-Up to Flounder

paper doll follows quinnie’s critically acclaimed 2023 debut album Flounder, which Pitchfork described as one that “submerges us in baptismal primordial soup.” The album featured the standout fan-favorite “touch tank” and helped cement her as a unique and authentic voice in bedroom pop and indie-folk.
