A Day to Remember (ADTR) is currently on their “The Least Anticipated” 2024 Tour with A Story So Far, Four Year Strong, and Scowl. The band stopped at Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, AZ on July 10th, 2024 to blow the area away with confetti cannons and fire blasts.
To kick off the night – Scowl, Four Year Strong, and A Story So Far warmed up the crowd. Scowl was a great choice for the lineup. The hardcore genre lacks a light of women in the scene. Having a band like Scowl open for what is an important band in the industry is very empowering. Kat Moss’ vocals display a great example that women can also be hardcore and rock out. She was a whirlwind of energy and chaos. After speaking to some of the audience members, many of them were mainly excited to see Scowl. Scowl was here to leave their mark on this tour.

Speaking of hardcore, Four Year Strong took the stage after Scowl. Dan O’Connor and Alan Day’s vocals and dynamics were insane live. The band kept the volume high and didn’t disappoint. A Story So Far was next. Their set was spot on – performing some of their greatest hit. The energy was felt when they performed “Nerve”. Listening to Parker Cannon is just like listening to the studio album. His vocals can make you feel his emotions throughout his songs.

Finally, A Day To Remember stepped on the stage. The arena rumbled with screams from the crowd. Their set started with “Sticks & Bricks” and we got a blast of confetti. They performed songs from all their albums – “Homesick” and “What Separates Me From You”. We even got a cover of “Since U Been Gone” by Kelly Clarkson. Crowd surfers were soaring through the arena. Fists and horns kept hitting the air all over the crowd. The energy was at an all-time HIGH. This was probably the loudest show I have ever been to.

Lead vocalist, Jeremy McKinnon’s crowd interactions set the experience of the show. This man’s persona shined in through his performance and stage presence. He made sure everyone was hyped up and having a great time. I even got a camera interaction with McKinnon myself. Mckinnon walked and ran around that stage as if he was home and owned it. The crowd lost it when Jeremy pulled out his acoustic guitar and performed “If It Means A Lot to You”. Everyone shouted back the lyrics to every song. The band showed off to Arizona and showed us they could put on a great show.
