Acclaimed singer-songwriter BANKS returns with her highly anticipated fifth studio album, Off With Her Head, out today via ADA Worldwide, the independent label and artist services division of Warner Music Group.
The album arrives on the heels of BANKS’ 10-year anniversary celebration of her seminal debut album, Goddess. To mark the milestone, she released Goddess: Unplugged, an acoustic reimagining of the beloved record, and embarked on a completely sold-out global tour, performing intimate shows across London, New York, Los Angeles, and Melbourne. The run of shows reignited fan fervor and set the stage for the next chapter in her career.
Returning to the essence of Goddess while embracing a decade of artistic growth, BANKS shares, “In many ways, it’s a big sister album to Goddess*. After a decade apart, I’ve reunited with the core musicians and producers who helped shape my debut. At the same time, it’s something entirely different— I’ve grown so much as an artist and a person, and the journey is documented in all these sounds.”*
The album features previously released singles “I Hate Your Ex-Girlfriend” featuring Doechii, “Best Friends,” the fan-favorite “Love Is Unkind,” the much-buzzed-about track “Delulu,” and “Meddle In The Mold,” recently performed live on COLORS.
