Pennywise Ignites Phoenix on Explosive 2026 West Coast Tour Stop

May 13th, 2026 — Pennywise brought the West Coast 2026 Tour to The Van Buren with support from Dead Fucking Last (DFL), H2O, and punk legends Circle Jerks for a sold out night of circle pits, singalongs, and classic punk anthems.

Pennywise brought the West Coast 2026 Tour to the Van Buren on May 13th, 2026. The sold out show featured support from Dead Fucking Last (DFL), H2O, and punk rock legends Circle Jerks.

DFL got the circle pit going with a hard-hitting 30-minute set. Frontman “Crazy” Tom Davis stalked the stage as the band tore through classic tracks and new material. Guitarist Monty Messex and bassist Patrick Sullivan fueled high-tempo tracks, while drummer “Snare” Jordan Jacques laid down the beat. Stand out tracks included “Pizza Man”, “Proud to Be DFL”, and “Fuck It”, the title track from their latest album.

H2O brought a positive mental attitude to their high energy set. Vocalist Toby Morse bounced around the stage while his son Max beat the drum kit into submission. Guitarists Rusty Pistachio and Matt Henderson provided tight punk rock rhythms while bassist Adam Blake, whose unbridled joy and enthusiasm was infectious, held down the groove. Highlights included “Nothing to Prove”, “One Life, One Chance”, and “Guilty by Association.”

The legendary Circle Jerks showed why they’re one of the best to ever do it. Lead singer Keith Morris (Black Flag, Off!) led the band through a ferocious set. Morris was joined on stage by guitarist Greg Hetson (Red Kross, Bad Religion), bassist Zander Schloss (Thelonious Monster), and drummer Joey Castillo (The Bronx, Wasted Youth). It was a murderer’s row of punk legends that have all made significant contributions to the genre over the years. Highlights included “Back Against the Wall”, “Live Fast Die Young”, and “Wild in the Streets.” The set also included covers of classic Black Flag tracks including “Fix Me” and “Nervous Breakdown.” Circle Jerks closed out the career-spanning set with “Question Authority”, a song that is still relevant nearly 45 years after its release.

By the time Pennywise took the stage, the venue was packed. Cheers erupted as the house lights dimmed and the band emerged from the wings. From the time Jim Lindberg planted his foot on the monitor speaker and grabbed the mic until the capacity crowd belted the “Whoa-oh-oh-oh” chorus of “Bro Hymn”, Pennywise did not slow down. Pennywise kicked off the 20-song set with “Homeless”, “Peaceful Day”, and “Straight Ahead.”

The band added covers of “Bob” by NOFX and the eponymous classic by Minor Threat. Other highlights included the anthemic “Fuck Authority” and longtime set staple “Society.” Friends and family joined Pennywise onstage as bassist Randy Bradbury tore into the iconic introduction to “Bro Hymn.” The song, a tribute to lost loved ones, has long been the band’s go-to closer. The song’s emotional weight and sing-along chorus ended the show on a high note.

The 2026 West Coast tour concludes with back-to-back shows at the House of Blues in Anaheim, California on May 16th and 17th. Pennywise will hit the international festival circuit starting with the Pořao Do Rock Festival in Brazil on May 22nd. The band will play additional festivals in Canada, Germany, France, and Spain before returning stateside for the Sublime Festival in Salt Lake City, Utah on July 18th, 2026. Tickets are available at Pennywise Official Website.
