May 25, 2026, YUNGBLUD — a genre-fluid alternative rock artist from England, gave his best and left It all on the floor in Phoenix, AZ at his IDOLS WORLD TOUR performance !
The show was so much fun, unlike anything I had expected. From the second he hit the stage, his personality and high energy was so insane it took over the entire room! You could feel the love he has for his craft in the way he performed like it was his last. He traveled a long ways from England and he did not disappoint!
The visuals for each song were so good, pulling you into his world and making you feel immersed in the story he was telling. The production was what I would like to call, “top tier”: very bold colors, confetti, distorted visuals, flames, and lights that really brought the set together. Everything made the night feel bigger than a concert and more like an experience.

The audience engagement was impeccable. He invited a fan up on stage to play his guitar during one of his songs, and the way that fan rocked out? Iconic. The camera work caught every facial expression, especially his iconic tongue out face, and all that raw energy. I think the craziest part is when he jumped down into the crowd, danced with us like we were all friends, and finished the set from a completely different spot in the venue. That man does NOT play about connecting with his fans!
The merch was really cute and definitely on-brand — quirky, fun, high-energy, just like him. Even the drinks were glowing in the dark, adding to the vibe. He had the entire arena out of their comfort zones, singing, jumping, dancing, losing their minds together. It genuinely felt like one big misfit family. As my second rock show ever, I still can’t believe how fun it all is. Being my first YUNGBLUD concert, I was nervous I’d feel out of place… but nope. Not even for a second. He made everyone feel seen, included, and loved. The connection he has with his fans truly runs deep and you can tell he genuinely cares to put on the best performance possible.

There was one moment that really stood out, and it was when he paid homage to Ozzy Osbourne’s “Changes.” It was stripped back, emotional, and so so beautiful. You could feel how much that song means to him, and sharing that with us definitely hit different. The whole room locked in, phone flashlights, waving hands, singing along, crying, it was all so raw and real. A moment to remember for a very long time.
My personal favorite set was for his song “Loner” and because it was so fun and catchy. the lyrics and split screen on the stage’s screen during his performance gave it that much more depth. I guess you could say I also felt a little connection to the lyrics and that’s the most important part about these experiences. Music has a way of bringing people together, relating on different levels, and he didn’t miss a beat. I more than enjoyed myself and there’s no doubt I’d see him again.
YUNGBLUD is charming, handsome, ridiculously talented, and the perfect little blend of chaos and joy. He’s the type of artist everyone needs to experience at least once. By the end of the night I was laughing, smiling, and on an insanely unforgettable high from the way he made me feel. If you ever get the chance, I can’t recommend this artist enough, He doesn’t just play music… he throws a full-on rebellion, and you’ll leave feeling like you belong there!
