Today, Los Angeles-based Mexican/Colombian artist, producer, singer, rapper, and multi-instrumentalist St. Panther (Dani Bojorges-Giraldo, they/them) releases their highly anticipated EP, Strange World — a defiant, genre-transcending body of work celebrating love, community, and a sense of purpose.
Blending elements of soul, hip-hop, R&B, alt-pop, and beyond, Strange World captures and confronts the broader climate of uncertainty and apathy.
To celebrate the release, Bandcamp will host a special Strange World listening party today at 2 PM EST / 11 AM PST on their website.

ST. PANTHER ON STRANGE WORLD
“It’s been highly impactful—to say the absolute least—to witness the world in the state it’s in today. In so many lyrics and melodies, I’m using this set of songs as a method of putting certain messages into our ether, intentionally shouting certain things from the rooftops that a friend jokingly said ‘for world peace.’ But this music is meant to activate people in some way—to meditate about our relationship to each other—which feels like a good use for music right now.”
“AMERICAN DREAMS” MUSIC VIDEO
Alongside the EP, St. Panther releases a powerful new music video for “American Dreams,” a groovy call-to-action against desensitization, doom-scrolling, and voluntary negligence.
“Not to make an anthem about desensitization in 2025, but the intention was to start a conversation with several generations. It’s painful to witness 50% of us or more being non-responsive towards our fellow humans in need—whoever they may be. So I wrote about where this lack of a relationship with each other began: on a screen. I highlighted the act of scrolling and how consequential it is to become another cliché ‘American Dream’ because of it, if you ignore the rest of the world to achieve it.”
At the end of the video, viewers are invited to scan a QR code linking to several resources and fundraisers supporting Gazan families.
Strange World arrives at a pivotal time in global and cultural history. While St. Panther’s earlier music soundtracked many people’s early 2020s, this project centers their community, their peers, and themselves — reflecting both personal and collective transformation in today’s “strange world.”
This release marks St. Panther’s first project with the art-forward label drink sum wtr and their first full collection since 2020’s breakout debut EP These Days. Following their departure from the major label system, St. Panther took time to reconnect with their peers and creative roots.

The project features co-production from McClenney (H.E.R., Khalid, Jamila Woods), with guest appearances by Rae Khalil (Anderson .Paak) and Erik Bodin of Little Dragon on acoustic drums in the title track.
