Indie surf-rock group Foxtide made a triumphant return to Arizona on August 14th, playing a
packed-out show at Club Congress in Tucson. The group, based out of San Diego, is composed of Elijah Gibbons (vocals and guitar), Oey James (bass), Dom Friedly (keys and guitar), and Ian Robles (drums).

The show began with The Braymores opening, an alt-rock/folk band based out of Chicago. The group brought immense energy, keeping the crowd engaged and excited; setting the stage well for Foxtide.

This show would mark Foxtide’s second time in Arizona within just 5 short months. In April, the
band brought their Entropy tour to Phoenix with a sold-out show at Valley Bar. This show marked a special return, as the group is now on the Entropy Tour Extended, playing more
shows in new cities with even higher energy and unforgettable nights after the completion of the
Entropy tour.

The performance began with the titular song off of the group’s latest album, Entropy. Both
familiar favorites and setlist staples were played along with a mix of the group’s entire
discography. Songs like “She’s Not Yours,” “Pilot Wings,” “Feels Like a Gun,” and “Live by the Sun” were performed, creating a show with the perfect blend of immense energy and emotion.
Foxtides’ Tucson performance was the perfect show. It was high-energy, fun, and enthralling the entire way through their set. After the show, the band stuck around the venue to meet with fans, ending the night on an impeccable note.
