English indie rock duo Good Neighbours brought their world tour to Phoenix, AZ on November 9th. The performance at Crescent Ballroom was sold out! It was a return for Oliver and Scott, as the last time the duo had set the stage in Phoenix was to open for Foster the People. Previously, in 2024, the group had performed a headline show at Last Exit Live. Since the success of their debut single Home, released in 2024, the group has released multiple singles, covers, an EP, and their brand new album; Blue Sky Mentality.
Good Neighbours’ sound is a unique blend of rock, pop, and that classic indie sound -the music is an audible personification of happiness and hope. Oli and Scott have a unique way of putting that intangible human emotion into their music, which is well-reflected in their live performances. The new album Blue Sky Mentality sends the message that no matter what you’re going through, hope and happiness will always be there.
Nicky Youre, known for their hits such as Sunroof and Eyes on You, opened the night. Nicky’s performance had fans intrigued and captivated, building up the energy for Good Neighbours to take the Stage.
The show in Phoenix celebrated the release of the Blue Sky mentality album, with songs such as Suburbs, Small Town, People Need People and Skipping Stones on the setlist. From start to finish, Oliver and Scott brought high energy to the room, leaving fans captivated and engaged. With each song, the crowd sang along enthusiastically. One standout moment was the heartfelt performance of Small Town. The room got quiet as the band played, with some fans brought to tears. The night ended with Scott and Oliver performing Daisies, their third single released after Home and Keep It Up in 2024. The show was fun, emotional, and captivating – and left fans wanting more.
