Noah Cyrus Announces New Album I WANT MY LOVED ONES TO GO WITH ME and North American Headline Tour

GRAMMY®-nominated artist, songwriter, and producer Noah Cyrus has officially announced her sophomore studio album, I WANT MY LOVED ONES TO GO WITH ME, arriving July 11 via RECORDS/Columbia Records. In tandem with the album release, Cyrus will perform a special one-night-only show at The Ford in Los Angeles on release day, followed by a North American headline tour this fall.

Pre-order/add/save I WANT MY LOVED ONES TO GO WITH ME here.

An Album Rooted in Family, Nature, and Self-Discovery

Co-produced by Noah Cyrus alongside longtime collaborators Mike Crossey and PJ Harding, the album showcases Cyrus’ most personal work to date. I WANT MY LOVED ONES TO GO WITH ME blends Americana, indie folk, and country music with lush instrumentation—banjo, pedal steel, dulcimer, mandolin, cello, and acoustic guitars—all in support of Cyrus’ hauntingly rich vocals.

Guest features include Blake SheltonFleet FoxesElla Langley, and Bill Callahan, adding depth to an already expansive emotional landscape. Cyrus, now 25, says of the album:

“I had to learn how to make decisions for myself and make that transition into adulthood. But I’ve found who I am, I know who I am, and this record shows what I had inside me all this time. This album is me.”

Honoring Family and Musical Heritage

Cyrus pays tribute to her family throughout the album. “Don’t Put It All On Me” was written by her brother Braison Cyrus and transformed into a duet with Robin Pecknold of Fleet Foxes—one of Braison’s favorite bands. She also resurrects the first song her father, Billy Ray Cyrus, ever wrote, with a heartfelt rendition titled “With You.”

“My dad is one of my biggest influences,” she says. “He turned me on to so many great songs and artists. My musical inspirations came from somewhere, and more often than not, it’s been him.”

Another standout, “I Saw the Mountains,” reflects her upbringing between Tennessee and California, a song rooted in the harmony of humans and nature—a value passed down from her father.

A Comforting Companion in Sound

With I WANT MY LOVED ONES TO GO WITH ME, Cyrus fully embraces the country and folk influences only hinted at on her 2022 debut The Hardest Part. It’s a record that balances introspection with wide-open beauty, designed to offer listeners a sense of peaceful nostalgia.

“I want this album to offer fans a sense of comforting, peaceful nostalgia,” Cyrus explains. “I want to evoke that feeling of a comforting friend that a song can be — and allow us all to heal.”
